SYNOPSIS

As Cores da Água is an audiovisual experience where several artistic languages converge in an aesthetic encounter that celebrates the past and present of Santo Tirso.
In a succession of paintings, dance and music shape Eulália's personal journey from country girl to fighting woman. Several spaces in the municipality are the setting in which his anxieties and dilemmas unfold, which affect his relationship with his family, at the same time that they are themselves shaped by the historical development of Santo Tirso. The constant challenge of expectations and the establishment of connections to the Other are evident as the driving forces of the individual torrent that is the incessant search for happiness. A course that, amid the construction and release of tensions, assumes the potential to operate changes that define destinations, in the same way that the rivers that mark the territory of this county define so much of its identity.

This is, in the end, a story as much about Eulália as about Santo Tirso itself, its landscapes and its people, where persistence and solidarity stand out as the essential tone of a mottled cloth of intense color.
