There's a Party in the Village

Perhaps life is a mirage. Or perhaps this is just the feeling that lingers in a worn-out routine, chasing something we can't quite define or quantify, a vague but often pressing horizon. Projecto Cardo joined forces with young students from Specialized Artistic Music Education - students from the 3rd cycle of the Guimarães Conservatory and the Calouste Gulbenkian Conservatory of Music in Braga - to create a show capable of giving voice to this and many other anxieties. In a world full of dichotomies and increasingly polarized, discovering how to be part of a whole greater than ourselves without losing our individuality (or allowing it to prevail) is a far from linear journey. In Constellations, that's the journey we propose: to translate the perspective of young people today, with their fears and longings, to give it a stage and open a window in the construction of a broader future. If there is still so much to do, designing new utopias may well be a journey worth discovering.
